According to The Sun, the Blues are said to be lining up their targets for the winter transfer window and Zaha has been earmarked as one of the prime options to strengthen the wider attacking department. It is added that the west London giants could be prepared to match the Eagles' £80m asking price for the winger, thereby breaking their transfer record which is currently held by Kepa Arrizabalaga's £71.6m move from Athletic Bilbao last year. Zaha was the subject of interest from Arsenal and Everton during the recently-concluded transfer window, but both teams decided against pursuing his services after being put off by the Eagles' valuation.
