Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has called for patience following the club's 1-1 draw in the Premier League against Leicester City on Sunday evening. Frank Lampard reacts to Chelsea fans' support on home return Real Madrid to make one final attempt for Paul Pogba? The Blues started as the stronger team at Stamford Bridge and they found the net within the opening 10 minutes after Mason Mount dispossessed Wilfred Ndidi to score his maiden goal for the club. Thereafter, the west London giants failed to find any success in front of goal and this eventually witnessed the Foxes make a comeback through Ndidi, who redeemed himself with the equaliser after the hour mark. Speaking after the game, Lampard said that the fans may need to remain patient during the early phase of the campaign, considering he is still working on the best combination for the side. "It's very early for us. We have to be patient as we are working towards something. Two or three nil would have taken the game away from them but we didn't take those chances. That's the story of our season so far," he told BBC Sport. Lampard has now failed to guide the Blues to a victory in any of the three games in charge this season, but he can take some positives from the fact that the club have registered their maiden point of the new league campaign.
