Mesut Ozil isn’t ‘training hard enough’ to play for Arsenal, claims Charlie Nicholas

Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas claims Unai Emery is overlooking Mesut Ozil this season because the German simply isn’t ‘training hard enough’.
The playmaker has made just one Premier League start this season and has been left out of Arsenal’s last three matchday squads.
Ozil was again left out of Arsenal’s 18-man squad for their clash against Sheffield United on Monday night. And Nicholas, looking ahead to Thursday’s clash against Vitoria SC, claims Emery has no option but to overlook Ozil because of his poor performances in training.
‘Will he throw Mesut Ozil into this situation?’ Nicholas wrote in his Sky Sports column. ‘I think Unai Emery knows Ozil is not training hard enough, so that is why he is not putting him in the team. He is still there so I would play him.;
