Arsenal fans demand Gabriel Martinelli starts against Brighton

Arsenal host Brighton on Thursday night in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are desperate to see rising star Gabriel Martinelli promoted to the starting XI.
The Gunners are currently on the search for a new manager following Unai Emery’s exit, but in the meantime have club legend Freddie Ljungberg at the helm as caretaker boss.
His side recorded a 2-2 away draw against Norwich City in the previous game and Ljungberg is now be preparing to name his second team in charge.
The North London club currently sit ninth in the league table and desperately need to try bridge the seven-point gap to the top four position
A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media have urged Ljungberg to start Martinelli at the Emirates Stadium against Brighton.
The Brazilian attacker is enjoying quite the first season in English football, with seven goals in his 12 games across all competitions so far.
But the 18-year-old is yet to start a single league match and all of his success in front of goal has come in the cup competitions.
He’s a centre-forward that can also play as a winger and there is a real cry from the fanbase to see the talented individual given more of a chance, as he looks a clinical finisher and possesses great movement.
